Remember that week in the beach house? I can smell the ocean and taste the salt. I can feel the heat of the day and at night, the scratchiness of the sheet on sunburned shoulders. I can hear the lull of the waves and the gulls’ demanding cries. I can see the rainbow in an abalone shell and the weight of the world lifted from your brow.
